Lofoten

Far above the Arctic Circle, the Lofoten Islands rise steeply from the Norwegian Sea. Pale beaches and turquoise bays lie beneath rugged peaks, while red fishing cabins gather along sheltered harbours. Light moves quickly here, revealing the landscape in shifting layers of colour, cloud and reflection.
