Hållö

Off the coast of Smögen, the island of Hållö rises from the sea as smooth, rose-coloured granite, polished by ice and worn by waves. These photographs follow the bare rock beneath the red lighthouse: still pools that hold the sky, rust-coloured hollows, small patches of heather and flowers, and narrow channels of clear green water. A landscape of few elements, where stone, water and light are everything.
