Windows

Windows are where a building meets the street. Framed in painted wood, carved stone, timber or plain modern glass, they hold reflections of the sky, glimpses of the rooms behind them and the glow of the lanterns beside them. This series gathers windows from old town lanes, half-timbered streets and contemporary façades: ornament and proportion, colour and reflection, by day and after dark.
