Between Harbour and Horizon

Skeppsholmen is where Stockholm slows down. Surrounded by water yet only moments from the city's busiest streets, the island offers a quieter perspective on the capital. Historic ships, waterfront paths, tree-lined avenues and open views across the harbour reveal a place shaped by both maritime heritage and everyday life. These photographs follow the island through changing seasons, shifting weather and the light reflected from the surrounding waters.

Old Copenhagen

Copenhagen's old city is written in brick, copper and gold. Spires turned green by centuries of weather rise above stepped gables, while gilded ornaments, wrought-iron lanterns and carved dates catch the low Nordic sun. These photographs move from City Hall and the churches around Strøget to the painted houses of Nyhavn, lingering on the craftsmanship that gives the old buildings their character: patterned brickwork, curling ironwork and the quiet details most people pass without looking up.
